Hello, Namaste! I am from Nepal. I have been living in Hong Kong for the last 9 years. I live in Yuen Long with my husband and two children aged 6 and 2. I and my elder child attended the SEED course last year at Yuen Long Town Hall organised by the PRAISE Centre. As I was a new mother, I only had little experience on parenting, everything around seemed new and adopting it became a challenge for me.
父母常常跟我說：「寶貝，你是無價的。你是天父送給爸爸媽媽最好的禮物，我們很感恩能陪伴你成長。」在一個平凡的暑假，父母為我安排了一個不平凡的課程，讓我感受到自己的成長，自己的價值。還記得最初出席小種子課程時，我感到十分緊張和不自在，我害羞得連拍照時也拿着小種子一同躲在一角。多得導師循循善誘，時刻給予我鼓勵，不知不覺間，我在各方面也有成長。我知道改變生活能增強身心的健康；我知道「防備應復」的安全意識；我知道自己不單是無價的，也是無限的。
I am so grateful to be a part of this learning. I get reminded of how my body is mine and I have the responsibility of taking care of it. Growth, safety and well-being are my priorities (if I want to) have a healthy well being (as) it bounces back to my family, working environment and my community. How to apply 2024 SEED Journey Award
Eligibility : all SEED Course graduates*
Submit: A video of your journey of applying what you learned in the SEED Course to improve your growth, well-being, safety, and relationships.
How to submit:

Record a video (30 seconds or more) to share your attitude and behavioral change in terms of your growth, well-being, safety and relationship

Complete "Post-course Survey" (survey will be sent individually after story submission)
When to submit: September 1, 2024 to November 30th, 2024 at 12p.m.
After your submission:
1) We will select and post the top 5 submissions on our Facebook page. If you are these candidates, you will be informed.
2) The SEED Community and related networks will be asked to vote for the one with the deepest impact.
3) The Awards will be presented to the top candidates. All other participants will also receive a small token of our encouragement.
