在 2022 年 7 月加入 Be Priceless 大家庭之前，我是當地一所學校的幼兒園老師。 在 2022 年 3 月第五波 covid-19 爆發期間，學校的面授課程被暫停，我有很多時間重新思考我在教育領域的目的。 就在那時，我找到了Be Priceless。 在我的教學生涯中，我第一次覺得自己終於找到了目標，因為我不僅有能力賦予孩子權力，還能賦予社區中的每個人權力。

回想起自己剛開始接觸Be Priceless的時候，我是一位義工，幫忙做中文翻譯的。那時候，創辦人梁醫生告訴Be Priceless 相信在這個世界每一位兒童都應該在一個健康和安全的環境下成長。後來，很榮幸的受到梁醫生的邀請擔任Be Priceless的教師。正式開展了我為社區作出貢獻的旅程！
作為老師，能夠把重要的知識技能教給孩子們，能夠為孩子的生命帶來轉變，這就是最大的成就了。另外，作為一位母親，真的很慶幸自己能夠跟我們社區裡面的照顧者一同學習，一同分享育兒的心得。每位照顧者都會從簡單的概念和例子意識到自己原來一直在無私地為孩子們奉獻著，堅持著，大家的目標都是希望在培育孩子成長的過程中能夠做到好榜樣，能夠得到進步！
能為社區提供這個如此實用專業的課程，背後當然少不了Be Pricless團隊裡面成員的互相合作和支持。在這裡。你可以感受到每一位成員都是擁有著一樣的熱誠去服務社區，這是我從來都沒在其他地方見到過的！

我從2021年11月開始在Be Priceless做義工。我一直有為社區服務的使命感，我很自豪能成為 Be Priceless 團隊的一員。 在 Be Priceless 的旅程中，我為來自不同背景（包括居住在香港的少數族裔）的兒童和照顧者教授 SEED 課程。 作為印尼人，我也有機會為香港的印尼社群服務。 這是一次謙卑而充實的經歷，我將在我的生命中永遠珍惜。

Alanna，一名 10 歲的實習生
我永遠無法想像在 Be Priceless 實習會是什麼樣子。這是我有過的最奇妙的經歷。就像蜘蛛網之於蜘蛛，魔杖之於巫師，Be Priceless 已成為我非常重要的一部分。對於其他人來說，Be Priceless 及其團隊只是其他非營利性非政府組織之一，但對我而言，Be Priceless 團隊像我的家人一樣。每一顆幼苗、每一位員工、每一位志願者都有自己的獨特之處，所以我們不應該期望人們完全一樣，即使他們很相似。

在我參加 SEED 課程並加入 Be Priceless 之前，我真的不喜歡嘗試新事物。但後來我意識到我只是害怕把事情弄錯。參加 SEED 課程後，我學會了接受自己的不完美之處，並且認識到有時做錯事沒關係。
有時，我感到虛弱，什麼也做不了，但後來我回想起那些課程，然後想，“不，我不虛弱，我可以做一些事情。” Be Priceless 對我的生活產生了很大的影響。不僅擁有積極的態度，而且每天早上醒來時我都會感到更加自信和快樂。我常常看著窗外，看到正在下雨，然後我心想，“你在開玩笑嗎？現在我不能去公園了！”但現在，我把雨水看作是對所有植物的祝福，幫助它們發芽，長得更強壯、更高，並使它們的根更深地紮入地下。

Charlotte, a 17 year-old intern
Being able to join the Be Priceless team is amazing and truly a life-changing experience. I was amazed and in awe by how passionate and welcoming everyone was. You could tell how committed the team was to helping other people through their seed course and caregiver course. Putting all their blood, sweat, and tears into BePriceless and helping other people overcome their obstacles and past traumas.
Throughout my internship, I have had the chance to work on social media posts, video and music editing, and helping out in some of the children's and caregivers SEED courses. I was also able to help brainstorm interesting activities so that others could learn and have fun at the same time. Which is not something every organization would let their intern do. It's an amazing experience for high school students, as it provides an environment for us to get used to the work environment while being able to help others at the same time.
A memorable experience from my internship was when a report was filed because a child hit me, a 17-year-old. This might seem far-fetched and exaggerated to some, but to me, it shows how committed BePriceless is to ensuring everyone's safety, the child and me included. This incident provided me with valuable experience and gave me a deeper understanding of how organizations work.
My internship with Be Priceless has been truly meaningful and unforgettable; it has really made me change to be a better person, as well as being more confident and social. I’m really grateful to have been introduced to working with this NGO and to be part of such an impactful and wonderful team! They are truly priceless and limitless.
Dalveen, volunteer at Be Priceless
Although I've only volunteered at Be Priceless for a few weeks, I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to learn and witness the importance of teaching young children the importance of well-being and flourishing in life.I will be majoring in Psychology in university since I'm hoping to improve the well-being of people around me and people at Be Priceless have inspired me to also one day help people from underprivileged backgrounds to have access to efficient resources for their Well-being. I think it's amazing to see how passionate people at Be Priceless are to make a difference by helping children to grow and flourish. I would especially like to thank Dr Czarina for making me feel welcome and sharing her passion of helping children and caregivers flourish.
Xinny Liu, a medical intern
In my three month intership with Be Priceless, I had the opportunity to support children and caregivers in the community. I enjoyed helping out in the SEED course classes as well as working with the educators. Outside of the classroom, I was involved with video editing, translation and design, with the highlight being the Sustainable Development Booklet for Be Priceless.
Through this experience, I was able to gain more knowledge and understanding of NGO work, as well as the current health and well-being challenges faced by the vulnerable members of the community. I hope to use these experience and skills to bring to my future medical practice.

My 3-month journey at Be Priceless began in January 2024 and was truly remarkable and enriching. I was fortunate to work with a passionate team of talented professionals who mentored me with valuable insights and advice. The team values diversity and fosters a dynamic exchange of ideas to enhance both individual growth and collective success.
Throughout the internship, I not only supported SEED courses for children and caregivers but also participated in social media content development, video editing, and impact assessment. The high degree of flexibility and autonomy instilled a sense of accountability and self-motivation that drives me to strive for excellence in every task given. I am also amazed by the way Be Priceless delivers core values of growth, well-being, and safety, which bring life-changing impacts to children and families.

of professionals and was able to be involved in a variety of activities such as assisting the

gain first-hand experience in serving the community, thus being able to be more
understanding of their needs and witness how SEED course helps them to grow and flourish.
My experience here was fruitful as it not only helped broaden my horizons, but also aided in
my personal growth. Through witnessing SEED course and getting in touch with the
community, these experiences have strengthened my empathy, communication skills and
problem-solving abilities. I feel more comfortable in thinking from various perspectives and

As a medical student, my summer internship at Be Priceless was truly transformative. I had the opportunity to design social media posts and edit interview videos, amplifying the organization’s mission. Participating in the SEED courses—both internally and through outreach at schools and community centers—was a highlight of my experience.

Hailey Li, a 22 year-old nonprofit intern. I started my journey at Be Priceless since October 2024 and my internship lasted for 3 months. This internship was enriching and transformative, offering me a deep dive into the world of nonprofit management.
From the start, I was embraced by the organization's welcoming and supportive staff. Despite my initial worries about language barriers, I was quickly integrated into the team, with colleagues often communicating in English and Mandarin to make me feel included. Starting in early June, my three-month internship at Be Priceless was an incredibly inspiring and enriching experience. From content creation to assisting in the Seed Course as a teaching assistant and contributing to the Winter Carnival, I witnessed firsthand how Be Priceless extends its impact far beyond the walls of a small office—reaching schools, communities, and society at large.
What sets Be Priceless apart is its inclusive and holistic approach to education. The courses are not only designed for children but also support their caregivers and the ethnic minority communities. Through diverse themes and innovative teaching methods, the programs provide a fresh perspective on how children should be nurtured and protected. I was particularly impressed by the creative use of storytelling, such as the Three Little Pigs and interactive elements that deeply engage participants. One of my favorite aspects was the classification of emotions into different colors, much like a traffic light system. This simple yet effective method helps children reflect on their feelings and better understand their responses to different emotions.

My encounter with Be Priceless was unexpected yet providential. Having worked in healthcare communications for over a decade, I have been actively looking for volunteering opportunities to contribute to the community. In mid-2024, I came across Be Priceless on Time Auction. Prior to this, I hadn't heard of the organization. As I explored their colourful and smiley-filled website, I was immediately drawn to the life-saving message of SEED, which highlights the importance of safety as the core of health. The SEED program focuses on empowering individuals, particularly those considered vulnerable, to take charge of their own safety and well-being. Safety is the foundation of health, and it is not something to be ensured by others but rather entrusted to these individuals themselves.
I had the privilege of meeting the remarkable and humble team at Be Priceless, led by Dr. Czarina Leung. Be Priceless people are priceless gems to shine, bringing light and hope. When you get near any of them, you’d feel empowered. I’m in awe of their passion, profession and conviction to empower and enable the children, individuals with special needs, and everyone to acknowledge their value.

In 2020, I embarked on a journey with Be Priceless as a scriptwriter for their promotional video. This experience left an indelible mark on me, so much so that I returned to volunteer again in 2023 and 2024, this time as a practicing Narrative Therapy Master's student.
During my initial involvement with Be Priceless in 2020, I was deeply moved by their mission and the intentionality, sincerity, and integrity with which they operate. The organization's profound impact on the lives of those often marginalized in society truly struck a chord with me.
Be Priceless's unwavering focus on generosity, positivity, and hope, even in the face of dark and challenging societal issues, resonated deeply with my own values. Their bold commitment to promoting well-being and safety inspired me to continue serving with them.
During my time volunteering, I had the privilege of delving into the organization's story and helping with their storytelling efforts.
