Folder design competition

Enhance the understanding of "self-love" and "positive self-talk" among children, youth, caregivers, and the public, fostering a positive and healthy community through this community competition. Participants can design A4 folders to convey relevant messages. The best design will be produced as a finished product.

Eligibility:

Participants must be Hong Kong residents.
Participants must be children or teenagers aged 4-17.
Each participant can only submit one entry; if multiple entries are submitted, only the last one will be considered.
Participants and their caregivers must agree to and comply with all terms and conditions of the competition.
Participants under 18 must register by their caregivers and with parental consent.

Judging Criteria:

60% Content & Relevancy to the theme, arouse the public awareness’ of ‘Self-Love’ and ‘Positive self-talk’
20% Design & Creativity, originality and the concept of the artwork
20% Art elements and techniques - drawing techniques, balance and colour, visual effects

Judging Panel:

The judging panel will be the Be Priceless team and representatives of the partnering organization. The panel will give ratings according to the mentioned judging criteria and select shortlisted some excellent artworks, final one best design and two outstanding designs.

Results Announcement:

The results will be announced on Be Priceless’ website and social media platforms

Submission Requirements:

The artwork design must be relevant to the theme of “Love, Me First”
Must draw on the assigned design template
The design must be in colour
Size A4 (210 x 297 mm)
Once submitted, the copyrights of all entries, are vested solely in the organizer, Be Priceless.
Designs must be 2D and can be presented with different kinds of drawing tools, such as digital art, watercolor, acrylics, oil painting, chalk, ink, colored pencils, sketching, etc.
Digital Artwork is accepted, but no graphics and designs produced by AI will be accepted.
Please submit the artwork file with at least 300 dpi and in PNG, JPEG or PDF format
All entries must include a title and a brief description of design concept (within 150 words)

Terms and regulation (All participants must agree and follow the term and regulation as below):

Each participant can only submit one entry; if multiple entries are submitted, only the last one will be considered
All entries must meet the submission requirements
All entries, once submitted, could not be modified, replaced or returned
All entries must not contain violent, obscene or indecent content
All entries must be original and should not be drawn by others
All entries should not include any individual’s, company’s or organization’s name, products and service. No other brands and logos are allowed in the design
Participants should guarantee their entries have never been shown in any form, and do not infringe any copyrights and intellectual property rights. The participants and/or their caregivers shall ensure the copyrights’ belonging and assume legal liability for any disputes over the copyrights of the entries. Be Priceless should accept no responsibility for such disputes
Be Priceless remains the copyrights of all entries. Participants should agree that Be Priceless could display, copy or use the entries for all purposes and are not required to notify the participants or pay any fees.
Be Priceless will publish the entries in any form, including public display
Participants should not raise any objections, Be Priceless has the right to use in whole or in part the design of the entries.
Be Priceless will invite winners, sign consent and participate in publicity events
